Dr. Boyd was born and raised in West Texas and is a 3rd generation medical practitioner who fell in love with medicine at a very early age. It was always her dream to not only practice medicine but be a medical detective, trying to find a diagnosis for those who no one else could.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Biochemistry from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, TX, and is a board-certified Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine, obtaining her medical degree from Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington. Following graduation, she completed a 2-year residency at an integrative medical clinic in Woodinville, WA.
Dr. Boyd has a passion for tackling the toughest cases head-on. She has shaped her medical practice with a focus on children with chronic illnesses and pediatric neurologic conditions including Autism Spectrum Disorder, PANDAS/PANS, and ADHD. Prior to achieving her medical degree, Dr. Boyd spent over 10 years serving clients through massage therapy and counseling.
Dr. Boyd is a member of the NAEM, AANP, TXAND, WPSR. She is certified in Autonomic Response Testing, Neural Therapy, Kneipp Hydrotherapy, Craniosacral, and Visceral Manipulation.
She a true lover of nature and spends her free time gardening, hiking with her dog Chewbacca, skiing, and ballroom dancing with her husband.
