Dr. Robertson’s interest in natural medicine began early in life starting with his love of nature and interest in the healing properties of plants.
After completing a B.S. at the University of Wyoming with a major in Biology, he began medical training at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. His graduation in 2010 was followed by an internship focusing on nutritional and metabolic disruption. In addition, Dr. Robertson has advanced training in prolotherapy from The American College of Osteopathic Sclerotherapeutic Pain Management and IV therapies from the IV Nutritional Therapy for Physicians, as well as extensive training with Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt, MD, PhD utilizing Autonomic Response Testing and Neural Therapy.
Dr. Robertson strives to utilize the most effective and advanced evidence based treatments available to assist his patients in achieving their own level of optimal wellness. His specialized practice focuses on healing from both acute conditions, as well as complex chronic illness, including injury and pain, chronic infection, environmental toxicity, nutritional deficiency, gastrointestinal problems, pH balancing, and abnormal reaction to stress.
His therapies focus on optimal lifestyle choices including diet, sleep, exercise, detoxification, herbal medicine, nutritional supplementation and therapies such as IV nutritional therapy, oxidative therapy, injection therapy, prolotherapy, physical therapy, emotional and spiritual counseling, and mind-body stress reduction.
Dr. Robertson believes health is a reflection of physical, emotional, mental, energetic and spiritual balance. Chronic conditions do not appear overnight nor do they recede with a “magic pill”. In order to achieve wellness, we must see our healing as a journey, not a destination. As this journey is different for everyone, each treatment program is individualized.
